30 minute Body Weight Workout

If you're in need of a quick body weight workout, like I was while on vacation this past week, give this one a try. I didn't have access to a gym so I spent 30 minutes a day doing a quick workout using just my body weight, a timer and music! Even though you're using just your body weight, it can be just as challenging as weights while still getting a good burn. Make sure to push yourself to your maximum effort for the whole time since you're only going for 30 minutes! Try not to take any breaks and keep moving for the full time. How do you know you're going hard enough? Are you breathing heavy? Feel like you want to stop and give up? Good. Keep going. The time will be up before you know it! And if you're doing this workout on a beach like I did, then you won't even realize that you're working out. ;) The workout: Set a timer for 30 minutes. Within that time complete the following in order: - Start with a 1 mile run - Complete 5-10 rounds of the following moves (How many rounds you complete depends on your mile pace and fitness level. If you're a beginner complete the smaller amount of reps for 5 rounds, intermediate complete 6-8 rounds of low or high rep range, advance complete higher reps for 8-10 rounds) * 10-15 push ups * 15- 20 squat jumps * 20-30 walking lunges - End with a 1 mile run
