Did the title of this catch you off guard? Me too. But I bet you'll still make at least one or both of these desserts that I'm about to share. I'm not sure what got into me, but a month ago I participated in a bake off contest at work. I was torn between keeping it healthy or just saying heck with it, I need to win. I chose not to be concerned with the health factor. If you don't know me, I'm slightly competitive and I love winning. So anything I participate in, I do it to win it or to become pretty darn close to it. I knew I had to pick something unique and something that screamed unhealthy! I actually put a lot of thought and work into deciding what I was going to bake for the bake-off. My original plan did not go as well as I thought it would, but I'll let you be the judge of that. I originally made a Fruity Pebble Cheesecake. It sounds pretty sweet and it looked amazing, but I was disappointed in the texture. The Fruity Pebbles quickly went from crunchy to soggy. If you would like to try this recipe follow this link: https://beyondfrosting.com/2016/05/23/no-bake-fruity-pebbles-cheesecake/. I followed the recipe as is but just colored my frosting blue! Here is my finished product!

Now for the WINNER. I decided on Golden Oreo Strawberry Cheesecake! I admit, I tried a few bites and it was pretty delicious! I was in SHOCK though when my dessert came in 1st place! And as promised since I won, here I am sharing the recipe on my blog. Hope you enjoy it, because I don't plan to share anymore unhealthy desserts like this one! You can find the original recipe here:
https://thissillygirlskitchen.com/golden-oreo-strawberry-cheesecake-bars/. It was very easy to make. I sprinkled the golden Oreos on the cake the following day right before it was served. I didn't want to take the chance of those getting soggy too! Also, I used a larger pan than suggested. It made my bars slightly thinner, but it was still tasty! :) Oh and using REAL sweet strawberries is key to making this extra yummy!

ENJOY! And don't ever say I never share anything good. ;) Also, I'm not to blame if your pants feel slightly snug after indulging these desserts!
