Banana Sushi Healthy Treat

I don't eat peanut butter in spoonfuls like I used to, but now when I have it, it sure is a treat! It's not one of those Whole30 approved foods, so I eat it occasionally in moderation. I most definitely could have made this banana sushi treat with Cashew Butter, and it would have been just as good! Anytime something tastes like a treat, but is actually pretty good for you, I'm all for it! I try to keep added sugar out of my diet as much as possible because I have more mental clarity when I don't eat it, and I experience too many highs and lows as far as my mood and energy when I eat it. Plus, right now I'm on a 2 week streak of not having added sugar, so I didn't want to ruin that. This banana sushi was just as satisfying. It's packed with protein, healthy fats and omega 3's, bonus! It won't leave you feeling like crap either.

Recipe: 1 ripe banana 1-2 Tablespoons natural peanut butter (Cashew Butter would also be delicious, and make it Whole30 approved). 1 Tablespoon Chia Seeds 1 Tablespoon Hemp Seeds Instructions: Make it look pretty: peel the banana and spread peanut butter all over the banana until it's covered. Mix together the chia seeds and hemps seeds on a flat plate spreading them out. Then roll the banana that's covered in peanut butter in the seeds. Dice the banana in bite size pieces and eat it up! OR Throw it in a bowl: Peel and slice the banana in bite size pieces. Place all of the ingredients in a bowl and combine it all together with a spoon until the banana is covered in all the gooey goodness! Enjoy!
